This may have been peak COD tbh. Still don't understand why they abandoned vehicles after this

Incredibly intense and really varied for the most part, but the Soviet unnecessarily campaign repeats some elements from the main game (Kharkov is basically Stalingrad + Berlin, and Kursk is far less impressive than the tank mission from the main game)

extremely long and repetitive levels, more than the original game. did not like it as much but its still a good game overall

I sometimes forget that people on these sites are rating it at this point for the single player experience and not for how much fun the MP was back in the day. Shame sites like this legit didn't exist back then lol

I prefer it to the base game, it's just more consistently good (especially the british levels).

That last level in Kharkov is the worst thing in either campaign though, that shit was NOT playtested on Veteran I'm sure about that
