Title
This NES adaptation is really where Bomberman began as we know it. You start with placing one bomb, that has a one-square range, and you need to get power-ups(hidden at random, so you'll have to level the whole place), which increase range, lets you pass through walls, and so on.

There are 50 levels in this game and the power creep if you manage to hog all the power-ups is immense. If you know how to be careful you can fly like a ninja anyplace and destroy any enemy basically the moment they get on sight. Just be careful not to die because all the useful power-ups other than blast range and extra bombs are going to be gone. NES Bomberman is fun, but after just four levels, the progression quickly becomes tedious, the enemy AI is unimaginative, and it takes far too long to play with the best toys Bomberman has to offer.
