The Texas Butcher is back, or should I say Larry! I genuinely enjoyed the Texas Butcher, and this game is no exception. However, since it's just a demo with two levels directly lifted from Texas Butcher and slightly modified, there isn't much new to discuss.
The story is intriguing: you play as a crazy maniac who massacres everyone in the Sanatorium to escape and continue the bloodshed. Initially, I found the section right after the Sanatorium a bit confusing; I couldn't locate the hole in the fence. Despite this, the Supermarket part was enjoyable, albeit a bit glitchy. I was disappointed that the one-hit swipe was removed.
some levels are too easy when enemies simply crawled away, allowing for simple stabbing until death. In the first house level, I could easily burst in, and all the inhabitants wanted to flee in the same direction I came from, enabling me to dispatch them without much strategy, just brute force. In this regard, it's actually a step back from Texas Butcher. Nevertheless, overall, I'd say this is the superior game. Yet, I can't help but wish Puppet Combo would give Larry the justice he deserves and finally complete his game!
