Title
Even with three years generously given to development time, trust me, the game hasn't fundamentally changed from the first Wolfenstein, and if anything, it is much more tedious. Unlike the first game which prompted you to dangerous shoot-outs, in Beyond Castle Wolfenstein you can p. much get around with just aussweiss and not shoot a single soldier. Although it means that you'll go through a taxing routine of having to show passes to every single room officer, and go through a process of "Halt! Commen sie! Ausweiss! Heil!"

Before I forget, the objective of the game is to find a bomb in a closet on the first floor, descend to level 3, find Hitler's cabinet, leave the bomb there, and then high-tail outside. The objective is more involving and in honesty there is nothing wrong with this game(as it offers bribing, hiding bodies, and passes as a new mechanic), but for a 1984 Wolfenstein sequel I would have expected a lot more.

A fun piece of trivia: Beyond Castle Wolfenstein inspired what may be the first instance of machinima ever! Kinda. It is a fantastic watch just based on the myriad of early 80s icons of gaming that are presented here.
