Title
Adding to the events already present in Athens 2004 there are a couple more: Hammer throw, 10m platform diving, a cycling and a kayak event return from Sydney 2000. Brand new in the series are the following: in the shooting discipline adding to skeet, there is 10m air pistol and 25m rapid fire pistol; there is also judo and table tennis singles; and a whole discipline of gymnastics including: parallel bars, vault, rings, floor exercise, beam and uneven bars.

This makes it the most complete game in the series to date. The interface however is not very pleasant and the gameplay sometimes get overly complicated.
Athens 2004 in retrospect was way more classy in its overall presentation, making this game kind of a letdown.
