Title
Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm pares down the gameplay in all areas, feeling more like an MMORPG stripped of all its social aspects and addictiveness. The combat was unnecessarily changed from the dynamic turn-manipulation of Iris 2 to a somewhat satisfying but ultimately restrictive and linear burst-damage system. What's left is an embarrassing catalog of repetition and poor mechanics further compounding its already painfully generic story and characters.
