I think this was the first N64 game to have a fully-fledged in-game tutorial, which is interesting, though the mechanics are so difficult to pull off that it's almost useless. Hoverboard handling is sloppy and doesn't feel tactile or intuitive, and it's difficult to judge or even see landings thanks to some ugly graphics and a floaty camera that often clips through walls and geometry. Game modes are few and thin: select a map and compete with yourself for a high trick score, a best time through stage-gates or most coins collected within a time limit. All are a nightmare to play for aforementioned reasons.
