Title
The original release of Age of Conan (I can't speak to its current state), was one the best representations of Robert E. Howard's work in any medium.
Deep atmosphere, a mature moral and philosophical framework, fantastic visual representations of Hyboria and its inhabitants, and one of the greatest soundtracks in games and film.

The creators had a clear passion for the project and a true understanding of the source material, and in many respects they were hugely successful in realizing their ambitions.

Given that, I'm happy to excuse the game its unfinished state, and other systems flaws, which in my view weren't significant enough to take away from its brilliance.

I'm forever grateful to this game for introducing me to Robert E. Howard and a whole new way of looking at life.
