Decent auto-runner speed-run sidescroller that is worth the price of admission. The game has a wordless story that I could not follow, but I think you play as an escaped experimental subject named Wally who has time-distorting powers, and you leap, hurdle and dodge your way through obstacles. That’s kind of all there is to the game – it’s not very deep – but I want to highlight the interesting approach to difficulty, in which more difficult options decrease the amount of slow motion that occurs when Wally approaches an obstacle, which makes it harder for the player to react…but the game’s sole scoring metric is the time it takes to finish a level, which continues in real time even when you’re in slow motion, which means that you need to play on the hardest difficulty to get the best time.
I honestly think this game is a 2.5 except that it has such a strong sense of authorial style that, even though I have no clue who Aerial_Knight is, this game exhibits so much of his personality (such as a love of anime, jazzy instrumental hip-hop, and Detroit) that it feels interesting.
