Holds up surprisingly well even if the mechanics are a bit cryptic. Feel like puzzle games with a story were pretty rare back then, definitely helps it hold up well
the only thing that feels a bit unfair is the unpredictability of the water currents so you end up doing a lot of trial and error. infinite continues so i didn't mind. i think i keep coming back to this one because it's the best looking game on nes
