besides the one to stop most of the crashes, qol mods are fairly unnecessary in my experience. prob differs from set up to set up but i'd say go for vanilla first

Don't use the mod New Vegas Stutter Remover as it makes your game crash. The Viva New Vegas guide has a list of bug fix mods that you can use instead.
