Not quite sure why you'd still want to like the guy, I mean his music/art and all was of merit but his "nice guy" image is proved to be nothing more than a facade

Hmmm. Yeah it doesn't sound like there was really any evidence, but not being on the jury I or you can't really comment. I imagine not all evidence is made public - if it was any dodgy armchair sleuth could try to to work out the case for themselves. So my respect for Harris remains incredibly low.

You say you can "can only base my beliefs on the evidence available"... in that case, and in regards to the fact you obviously like Zappa quite a bit... what about Roy Estrada? I mean, he was found guilty but next to no details about the offences were released. Therefore I don't think it's really right to reject a court's judgement merely based on what evidence is made public.
