I really wish I could, actually for a couple years it was kind of my life plan to one day live in NYC, but now I just don't think that's doable

man that's the dream. If I could live there for 6 months and then have a good exit strategy to come back home. Just to be able to say "I lived in new york for a while" when I'm really old, a life goal. But I think LA might be more my speed even though it has a lot of drawbacks too, but it least it has space to breathe and the ocean. But there's just something about NYC, it seems endlessly manmade in this way that feels like being inside koyaanisqatsi
