"What the freaking fuck is wrong with these reviews and comments. The movie was fantastic. If you didn't see anything more than just class division on the main characters you're very very shallow."
It's not that I don't see a deeper relationship between the main characters. I just don't think it's well done, since it's rooted in motifs and characteristics I find to be one-notedly presented. I tend to despise movies with such strong, obvious social agendas because I usually find them blatant and shallow, and not really speaking on any real issues or being socially conscious.
What are the moments where you think the movie is transcending that class divide? I think there are a few (as I noted in that review), but it's continually undercut.
