Do you enjoy living in Quebec? It's a region of particular interest to me.

If it works out money-wise, I want to go to college there, primarily because I think it would be a good place to become fluent in French while also being OK with English. I've heard a lot about how radical some Quebecois people are in terms of wanting to preserve their heritage and even secede, but from my limited experience as a tourist there, it wasn't as though they were hostile towards English speakers. Hell, there are numerous English-language universities in Montreal, hence my wanting to go there. I was just curious if you thought it was a nice place or not.

Yeah, I was so pissed when we left because we had just gotten back in Montreal when the big jazz festival was starting. Even before that, the city was fun, but that day was just amazing.

Tuition is good, but the US government doesn't give shit for loans/grants to people who go to college out of country, so I might be screwed. Either way, I do want to go back there someday, preferably in winter so I can see what that's like, and maybe visit the Carnaval de Quebec.
