Neither song is as immediate as All My Friends or Dance Yrself Clean, but I feel like they're both growers and will sound better in context. Call The Police is sort of an older sound, reminds me exactly of Hot Fuss-era Killers, but it's really well done and I love the sound so I don't mind that it's not groundbreaking or anything.

American Dream is the superior track imo with its more overt new wave leanings and slow, deliberate pace while retaining that classic LCD feel but still acting an evolution of their sound. I wouldn't mind if the album is mostly like Call The Police, but if its more like American Dream then it's gonna be another instant classic.
