Yeah, I get that man. I shop quite a bit at my local FYE, but there is also an independent record store in the town next to mine that I shop at a lot. Just ordered a Bracket album from that place last week.
So, do you have a favorite record label? Mine is Fat Wreck.
Thanks for telling me about the sites and albums to get man, I'll check them out for sure, you seem to be one of the most knowledge "punks" on this site, so I respect your recommendations man!
Damn dude, reading that last comment just made me respect you way more! I share the exact same views. While nothing wrong with ripped-up clothing and mohawks, I've never had either, and I don't think you need either to be a "punk". I think a punk is what's inside of you(I know, it sounds cheesy, haha), and anyone can be a punk, so long as they are true to themselves. That is all that really matters in my opinion, I welcome anyone into punk. Hopefully the music can bring joy to others like it has to you and I!
BTW man, have you ever seen "SLC Punk", and, if so, what did you think of it?
That's a very good way to look at it, and I have not yet gotten a chance to check out those bands, but I just wrote their names down, and plan on ordering albums from them. Thanks for the heads up on these bands btw, if you can think of any other bands I should check out, please let me know! c:

What upcoming concerts do you have man? I've got Social Distortion coming up in a few months, I'm really excited for that!
BTW, I just ordered "Lower Class Crucifixtion". I see that you are "listening" to it. I'm quite excited to hear it!
And, awesome that "Lower Class Crucifixion" is good, I'm excited to hear it!
BTW, I'm sure you don't really care(haha), but here are the CDs I bought as part of an "end of the year special"(if you will). What do you think:
