Glad you like it. I like some of the bands that Nuke's members are in, especially Reaper and Shitfucker, but Nuke is a very different beast altogether.

Another great Detroit band I've been getting into is Demon Bitch. The full-length debut "Hellfriends" sounds pretty good from what I've heard of it, and the "Death is Hanging" ep is pure fucking gold.

I think you'll like this one. Band has the singer from Brimstone Coven coupled with much more propulsive music, a great album cover and a horrible band name. I forgive that name 'cause the music is prime evil mastery. To my ears it sounds something like what might happen if Satan (the band, not The Dark Lord) tried their hand at a thrash album.

Thanks for the positivity on the review...appreciated. It was the same with me...those first 3 Police albums were always in heavy rotation. kind of a shame they don't get the credit they're due. I'm a huge fan of Copeland's drumming too. His solo albums aren't bad either.

Yeah, I have both of those Hail Spirit Noir albums and enjoy them quite a bit. I have "Mayhem in Blue" pre-ordered too. The first song on the new album is called "I Mean You Harm" and there's another one called "Lost In Satan's Charms." I'd be into more prog if there were more bands doing it that had that spirit of mirthful malevolence that these guys do.

Here is something you will probably like. This band has improved since I first heard the singles 2 years ago. They reworked them and included them on this bull length. Nice 80's melodic heavy metal/hard rock with a bit of stoner/doom influence and even a bit of speed metal. https://tytusband.bandcamp.com/
