yeah moving away from here always will be a big thing for people from here cuz the weather is intolerable and if you wanna stay vaguely close it's Denver Chicago or Milwaukee. Denver's the biggest city I've never been to so I plan on visiting soon, maybe even this year. Probably would just smoke and look at some pretty mountains.

does Denver identify as being out west tho, or does it have some of that comfortable tacky midwest culture that I love? Those dive bars you speak of are exactly my cup of tea

no way!? Wtf. Weird. Well, I'm right by there, on High St, which is appropriate! I'm staying at a 420 friendly hostel (lol). Gonna do a day in Boulder. Other than that I have very few plans! Got any recs for classic iconic things I should see to understand the city? Dive bars, diners, cheap burger spots etc?

Hey nice to see someone else recognizes the sheer greatness of The Doors' Strange Days! Your review is quite on point. I never got around reviewing it properly (honestly I am not a good reviewer anyway, but I try :D), so it's great to see someone giving this album a proper review :)

Yeah, I never understood that either. Maybe it is just frustration, due to the inability to understand, why people love them so much,but who knows...
'Strange Days' certainly is dark, but also so captivating. From the beginning of 'Strange Days' til the last moments of 'When the Music's Over' this album just isolates you from everything. That's why I also consider it the best Psychedelic music experience. It just feels like being numbed by drugs or like looking through the eyes of such a delusional, but poetic character like Morrison.
