I don't rate albums five stars unless it's mind-blowingly awesome and everyone should hear it - and love it.
My ratings are based on correlation to other albums I've heard, and represent how high they are on my list of favorites rather than the real "goodness" of the albums - I don't bother rating or "owning" albums I know I don't like.
