So my rating system doesn't follow any strict guidelines, a 5 is not necessarily perfect as I don't believe there really is a "perfect album," but a 5 is what I personally consider the closest to perfect that I have heard. Ratings are constantly changing as I listen to an album more so nothing is concrete. Obviously I have personal biases to some bands but I try to be as fair as I can.
