I was lucky that I ended up being friends with exceptionally musical/musically-interested people. All were in bands and/or played instruments (except me but I make up with it by being a rym music nerd) – a few collected vinyl even, so it turned out well for communal listening.

I felt the same way about the latest La Dispute, it was okay, lyrically pretty hard hitting, but overall not nearly as good as their first two

I don't really know any 2013 releases at the moment aside from the new Manilla Road

i recall you telling me my reviews were a little long, but everytime i look at my placing on the RYM reviewers with most words written link, I'm just inspired to WRITE MORE AND LONGER REVIEWS.
