I was mostly into metal (and some other styles of rock occasionally) earlier but nowadays my musical tastes range everywhere from early country/folk/blues to metal/noise/hardcore/experimental/electronic and anything in between. I don't base my listening on genres at all (anymore), and am always trying to find new interesting stuff (or old, but it's new to me anyway) to listen to without boundaries.

Most of my collection is still from my earlier years of listening to music, when i mostly just knew the more "commercial" and "mainstream" artists, but i'm getting more and more into the experimental stuff the last couple of years. Also i don't count downloads as "owned albums" so even though i have many hip hop mixtapes on my hard drive they are not listed in the collection, though some i have rated.

My rating scale:
5.0= Masterpiece
4.5= Excellent
4.0= Good
3.0-3.5= Decent
2.0-2.5= Bad
1.0-1.5= Garbage
0.5= Totally unlistenable, avoid at all costs
Most of my rated albums are on the upper side of the scale because i usually only get albums i'm pretty sure to like, and if not i usually usually get rid of them fairly fast, i have however rated some i don't have anymore, those are usually the really bad ones although there are others as well.
