Yeah I graduated like 13 months ago and I already feel like I was pathetic in high school lol. I forgot about the Colin Stetson thing actually. I think I might have also talked to you outside the Madison Theater after some show... I think it was Of Montreal? Not sure it was you. Anyway, whoever it was was pretty drunk.
So but what are you doing with your life these days? Anything cool and interesting?
Doesn't seem bad to me. Some stuff I absolutely can't relate to (engineering shit goes over my head [though what you're doing sounds interesting] and I'm an east-sider born and raised so I don't even know the difference between the Price Hills) but others I can. Chicago is a great city. I love Cincinnati, but I don't necessarily want to live there either. I guess the only thing I don't get is seeing your friends so seldom, but I'm also in college so seeing my friends is probably significantly easier.
I'm already getting a bit of that last part. My best friend goes to school in California and he's on a weird trimester-like system, so he gets out of school in mid-June, and we were both in Cincinnati for a total of four days this summer. I saw him once. Kinda shitty. And I think it'll only get worse in future summers because we'll be getting jobs and internships in strange places, etc. On the other hand, it must be nice to have someone who you can spend almost all your time with and still be happy. I mean, I'm sure your relationship isn't perfect, but if you're planning on getting married and stuff it must be pretty good too. That's an experience that you can't get in college, or if you do it'll kinda ruin the rest of your college experience.
