Probably will! I've heard a little bit of Plastic Ono Band but not the others. Being a big fan of George's songs, I'm very curious about All Things Must Pass in particular.

The Velvets in general come off to be as unbearably fake and lazy, and they hit that description the hardest on The Velvet Underground. I just feel as though it's indescribably condescending, while the actual quality is very mediocre, dragging the entire impression down with it. Can't stand the band, can't stand the album.

The massive appraisal they receive is honestly a huge part of it too, though. Everybody acts as though the band are the most important and brilliant that ever existed, and they're really just another rock band from the sixties. I forced myself to listen to them SO much trying to figure out why they're as loved as they are, and that's certainly ruined them for me more than I can imagine.

And the complaints I hold for the band are definitely more toward VU&N. I did, however, find more to enjoy from that release (Namely, Heroin and Venus in Furs). White Light/White Heat is easily my favorite of the band's output, but that's still received a 1.0 from me, so what'll you do?
