MHM last guardian looks incredible, hopefully it gets out within the year. as far as modern games go, my brother has a wii u i've played a bit, though that's about all. i'm more inclined towards games from the mid to late '90s -- riven, super mario 64, space station silicon valley, starcraft, pokemon red/blue, super metriod, etc. of course nostalgia helps with its mystical air, but there's a certain quality to this era that i adore.
small soldiers for the ps1, damn. incredible. haha i'm looking at pictures and it looks pretty clunky. ps1 games have that incredibly polygon heavy design to them that sets them apart in this kinda otherwordly realm, though (for alot of games) it also suffered from overcoming that in terms of gameplay. there was a toy story 2 game for n64 and ps1 that had that bold colored, otherworldy quality to it, but somehow managed to have solid gameplay on top of it.
