yeah that's the same way I did it with ???, book of revelations and battery, plus meat boy and I think lord of the pit.

dunno about favorite boss... probably the four horsemen. but I do know which bosses I loathe, like Peep and Chad, just because they're annoying.

yeah gemini is pretty annoying. steve is worse since it explodes when you kill it and I can never avoid getting hit.

oh geez yeah I forgot about Gurdy, by far my least favorite. probably because I'm so bad at dodging its shots. I'm not very good at dodging in general, probably why playing with ??? was so difficult.

the artwork I've seen for the new bosses looks pretty neat though, I'm excited for that too

yep, the shears are probably my favorite! but anything that makes you fly is nice (transcendency, pony, etc). I like the maneuverability.

mom's knife is pretty killer too; I found that with the snake/worm thing it has ridiculous amounts of damage. dr. fetus is fun too even though I'm bad at using it. you?

yeah the knife takes getting used to. I agree about brimstone, though, I think it's really hard to use so I never get it anymore.

the eyes aren't bad, except the triple shot. I hate that one, it makes you shoot so slowly it seems worthless to me.

congrats! it seems to me that after a while my success is mostly determined by whether I get lucky with the items and maps. it's not quite as fun, but it's still so satisfying to beat it.
