SOME of my 2.5 ratings are really based on 2 or so listens at most, hence the "forgettable" comment them. That being said, lower ratings than 2 will reflect more listens and, therefore, more scrutiny. That difference could be due to multiple reasons, but mostly because those lower ratings are given to either bands I avidly like/follow, records which got favorable reviews elsewhere/are getting attention recently and therefore merited more attention from me, or simply because I've familiarized myself with them through 2nd hand listening or... ah. fck it

then I realized it was dumb to actually care and rate everything.

so I just rate what I'm certain of now.
