RIP David Bowie 1947-2016

Hardly has another musician had such an impact on my life. Your music has gotten me through many difficult times in my life and given me more joy and emotion than most people in my actual life have. Your death will forever leave a black hole that will be impossible to fill, and the World is a much worse place now that you're gone forever.

One Year anniversary update

Can't believe Bowie's been gone for one year already. We lost a lot of great music talent in 2016, but Bowie has been the hardest and he was the first to go. I will forever enjoy his music and relisten to all my favorite albums and Blackstar will always be a special album to commemorate the great man who turned his death into a work of art.

RIP Prince Rogers Nelson 1958-2016

This has been a very hard year for music lovers of all eras, unfortunately, I have a bad feeling Prince won't be the last big name in music to die this year, were not even halfway through the year and we've already lost 2 big greats and many others. Prince along with Michael defined 80s pop music, and made music a lot funkier in general. With Prince we lost a lot more talent in the music industry and a very interesting/unique person whos stories will continue to fascinate the average people like us who could only marvel at what it would be like in your shoes.
