4 stars - I recognize that it is a quality album/song/film.
3.5 stars - There was potential.
3 stars - Not too bad, but not good.
2.5 stars - They could have done MUCH better.
2 stars - Just bad.
1.5 stars - Really bad.
1 star - Worthy of a "worst album/song/film of the year award."
0.5 star - Just hearing/watching this album/song/film makes me mad.
