5.0: unproblematic favourites, realistically needs to be my happy place and loved for a long time to get here from 4.5. 'just my childhood'
4.5: inspiring and/or remarkable games, 4.0-5.0 in quality but landing here very subjectively; some games that might make it into my 5.0s one day
4.0: superb games i would rec to a lot of people
3.5: i enjoyed them and think they are actively pretty good
3.0: fun but distinctly average, the better ones are dragged down by something
2.5 and below: bad, boring, and/or too unenjoyable to respect

i add things as i remember them and try not to add things i don't think i can evaluate meaningfully. since i drop non-short games pretty easily and want to spend my time on good things, and also i have too much time to find good games, my ratings end up skewed

i am fairly passionate about indie games and handhelds in general and also love jrpgs and vns. i love games that are delightful and tend to rate character highly. i also really love magic: the gathering (although i typically just play via arena, rather than paper).
