My recommendations:

· Psxdatacenter for PS1 (also useful for PS2 but they lack lots of info comparing to PS1).
· Segaretro for all Sega.
· Atarimania for Atari.

For the rest it's a bit more difficult but the best option is an ebay search or mobygames.

As a rule of thumb: Nintendo is almost always different releases, Sony is frequently different releases with a few exceptions and Sega is almost always one for Europe. I don't know XBox since I don't work much with it but most likely similar to Sony.

Don't worry about having things wrong, moderators will help you, and you will get used to things with time.
