yeah. i saw two gallants 5 times from like 2005-2007. they played houston a lot and always killed it. also, weirdly, the current guitar player at my dad's (tiny, rural) church toured with booker t during the like two years that that band existed.

(if it was 2015, they would have crushed it, but in those days they killed it.)

snap! it was archie bell and the drells, not booker t, that that guy played for. makes a lot more sense, since they formed in houston.
