I only put tracks I think are 4.5 or 5 stars on my mixtape lists so it's definitely similar but it'd be a good long while until I have one for every year.
Tbh, I haven't been listening to much music lately so that's another factor but I'll probably make mixtape lists again when I do. I like being able to look up on songs I forgot or remember what I was into at certain periods of my life. Having other people enjoy them is just a bonus but its cool to hear when someone like yourself gets something out of it so thanks for chiming in!
You flatter me! Musical discovery is what keeps me going, I suppose, and RYM is an exceptional platform for it. Sonemic is basically a rebranding/rebuild of the site itself, hopefully with tons of fixes on stuff that have been waiting for years on RYMzilla and forums. I'm in the Glitchwave beta (video games section) and it's pretty sleek. Just hope they streamline the adding process a bit, tracklistings are a pain and have been since I began.
Don't mention it! I imagine you have a bunch of stuff that needs added, too.
Yeah, it was the Korean user. You don't need to go through the trouble, I'll probably go ask down the road, you're probably right about them being bombarded, though. So much obscure stuff at their disposal.
I must have been very tired when I wrote that, heh. Now that I read it again with a more clear state of mind I get it now. What I was talking about in particular was this: https://www.discogs.com/Fa...release/5870503
Takashi Miyazaki, Itoken, and some names I'm not familiar with in Aya Tanaka and Kenji Kondo (guy who did music for La maison en petits cubes). I can't seem to find stuff by the last two (even on suki) so I'll seek that stuff in the future, maybe even import it when I get paid.
The name Itoken is a treacherous one-- One guy did video game musics and another did some great artpop and avant-folk/prog with groups such as Harpy and Win A Sheep Free. I definitely recommend the latter if you haven't heard of him.
