Hi, I like music. It doesn't really matter what genre it is, but mostly I like pop, rock, metal and indie music. I don't understand anything technical about music, I'm just an average person who likes to listen to music.

I only rate music I own, not every album/song I've heard. I might change stars afterwards (and I have). Music/movie recommendations are welcome!

2006 I found myself on a media workshop where I learned how to make movies (on a very amateurish level of course, but anyway) and ever since after that six months I've learned to watch movies differently. I'm still not any professional movie reviewer, I'm just a girl who enjoys watching movies. My favourite movie genres are drama and action, but when I was younger I liked more horror movies (than nowadays) but maybe I'm just more critical? Recently I've been interested of horror movies again, this time the movies before 1980's. My favourite directors are Hayao Miyazaki and Quentin Tarantino, I don't have any favourite actors, because I'm not very passionate type of person but I find myself liking Christian Bale, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Eva Green.

These are the movies we watched in the workshop:

Citizen Kane
Bad Taste + a document about doing the movie
Azumi [あずみ]

We also went to Tampere Film Festival and saw two shows, total length being around four hours. I was so excited of those short movies that I went to that festival on my own for the next three years.


Ps. I play World of Warcraft and Guild Wars 2 (WoW on a break atm).


My rating system:

5 = perfect or a huge personal favourite
4,5 = almost perfect, something little is missing it to be perfect
4 = excellent
3,5 = very good, little above average
3= good/average
2,5 = it's OK, there are flaws but I still can enjoy of it
2 = well yeah... it's passable but it's not very good
1,5 = pretty much crap, I can't recommend it at all in any circumstances or only to the die-hard fans of the genre
1 = very, very bad
0,5 = totally bad, never ever watch/listen to it

I guess I don't have to remind you, but reviews are always subjective so if you disagree with me, it's your right as well it's mine to have a different opinion.
