Queer music nerd and producer who also enjoys to play video games in my free time:) The BioShock series changed my life and view on games' possibility to be narrative work of arts sometimes above the experience of films and books, given their interactive nature. Since I was 11 I have loved narrative singe-player stories above all else. When I was 15 Life Is Strange became my world and introduced me to Indie Rock and Indie Folk, which stays with me to this day (even though the game definitely has its artistic issues). Later on in my life, at the age of 20, the Souls franchise changed my perspective on video games as an artform that I love exploring even more.

I don't like the term "gamer" since I associate it with people who have formed their identities around being people who like to play video games and take it way too seriously. It usually involves more right-leaning or at least "manosphere"-associated politics, and an unfounded hatred toward feminism, which I do not fuck with or want to associate with. Of course, this does not apply to everyone who call themselves a gamer. There are a lot of queer/non-binary/female/leftist (and/or) feminist men who self-identify as such, which is totally cool! I, however, pretentiously distance myself from the term. Games are not my identity, but it is an art form I enjoy a lot.

Alright, enough now with my pretentious rant! I only wrote it for myself and expect no one else to read it. But if you did then ... Cool, I guess. Please fuck off if it offends you <3
