I was conceived under the lights of the christmas tree, born at the end of August on a Tuesday morning (Tuesday's Child is full of grace), raised in beautiful British Columbia, baptised in the living waters of the Puntledge River and I call the Comox Valley home. I am a Husband, a father, a brother, an uncle and a son.
I love to discover new music, even if it's old music. I also love Golfing (playing, not watching), the NFL (watching, not playing), the Vancouver Canucks (on a good night), Mexico (on the beach with pina colada), ice cream, count chocula cereal, and Jack Daniel's.
I worked for 15 years in radio, on air, before going back to school and becoming a hairdresser.
My music obsession started when I discovered the Beatles when I was 10 years old. At 11, I started listening to the American Top 40 with Casey Kasem every week. At 12, I bought my first record: Elton John's Greatest Hits. By my 15th birthday in 1980, while it seemed like most of the kids I knew either didn't care about music, or only cared about what was on the charts at the time, I was obsessed with the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Who, Doors, Led Zeppelin etc.
I tend to get fixated on an artist or genre for months at a time, whether it's the Beatles, Alternative Country, Frank Sinatra, Jazz, or the Ramones (most recently)
I'm a music junkie, but please don't call Intervention.
And music must be in the genes. My son [maxbgalloway] is a regular here too.

Ok I decided that Straight into Darkness was more deserving than Spike, which is a bit more of a novelty song. So Straight into Darkness is in Spike is out.
