My rating system:

5.0 - Every single track is amazing, lyrically and musically. These are most important albums in my life - ones that I simply couldn't live without. Endless replay value and appropriate for all moods.

4.5 - Excellent album and musicianship, highly skilled songwriting, with no bad tracks to be found. Frequently revisited, with only minor flaws preventing it from being a perfect 5.

4.0 - Strong from start to finish, but lacking a little something to make it one of my absolute favorites. Still exceptionally enjoyable and memorable, and with very high replay value.

3.5 - Contains a few tracks or parts that don't quite sit with me, but is otherwise really good. Inoffensive and not a whole lot to complain about. Usually skip the more insignificant tracks if I'm just not feeling it then and there, but there's also the off-chance that they'll grow on me and I bump the album to a 4.

3.0 - Has its fair share of fillers, although there are several tracks I consider worthwile that I revisit when the mood is right. I rarely find myself listening to this release in its entirety, even though I don't directly dislike anything on it. This is where the line between a "good" and a "meh" album starts to get a bit blurry, and that's typically because there are better releases in the same vein.

2.5 - Below average in terms of musicianship and songwriting. Underwhelming, although it might contain a few decent tracks. The rest of the album doesn't keep my interest for long, and the release as a whole doesn't get much attention from me.

2.0 - Dull and otherwise unsatisfying to listen to. An annoying experience. Maybe I (sort of) enjoyed a few minutes of the release in total, but I'll likely pretend that I never even heard it.

1.5 - The few tracks I don't straight-up hate just leave me feeling completely indifferent. Disappointing to the point where I can't really form a proper opinion about the release because I've already suppressed everything I heard.

1.0 - No chance of me finishing the entire thing. My tinnitus is more entertaining.

0.5 - Certified shit. Absolutely no redeeming qualities. Makes me want to physically harm whoever made it.
