Your review for Innocence Reaches is so spot on. As a fellow mega-fan of oM / Kevin, it's hard for me to see him being so bitter in almost all of his songs, as much as I still love them, because it's just leading to more and more disdain from the general public. As much as I hate to say it because I love the near-yearly releases, I think he needs to take a few years off of making music and collect himself spiritually / emotionally.

Yesss glad you agree. I'm waiting for a new of Montreal to really surprise me. He's one of my absolute favorite storytellers, and I know he could shoot for something really ambitious and jaw-dropping. That will take some perspective though, as you said.
