It's definitely not bad and I think you hit it right on that they could have done better. The disappointing thing for me about it was how little it reflected the spirit and energy and rawness of their live performance (or the "Rats" single).
I REALLY got into them after I saw them open for Future Islands. While waiting for Jazz Mind to come out, I searched around YouTube and elsewhere to find live performances and did a bunch of shitty web rips of the audio. Never got all of it organized though..
Podoba mi się różnorodność w łączeniu noise'u, dronów i czystej rockowej adrenaliny na dwóch płytach. Feedbacker pięknie się buduje przez pół godziny, początek CD 2 to niczym nie ograniczony dziki noise rock, a "The Evilone which sobs" nie dość, że jest cieżkie i hałaśliwe to do tego zbudowane jest na rewelacyjnie rzewnym motywie. Tak widzę idealne wykorzystanie możliwości noise'u, który sam w sobie (np. solo albumy Merzbow) raczej nie robi roboty dla mnie.
