i haven't rated some of my favorite albums yet. don't ask why.

some of the genres i'm into: indie rock/pop, alternative rock, punk rock, post-punk, dream pop, electropop, proto-punk, classic rock/hard rock, blues rock, jazz/vocal jazz, soul, hip hop, alt-country, folk-rock.

i usually hate progressive rock. there are exceptions, of course.

when meeting someone i often ask their opinion on the beach boys and the ramones and i base my first impression of them on their answers.
