OPERATION FUCK IT
With recent goings on sort of rupturing my music listening and old passion for reasons I don't quite understand? It's time for some evasive action. I'm going to make three things noted here for going forward.
1. I really do want to complete the whole second cycles for the 60's and 70's, really I do. I will try to. Some years are super close even. Though...goddamn 75' and 76'...
2. I'm gonna kick out the dry wall and just go to town in my beloved years of 79-82 or so. Trying to keep it even 10's, but hey. I must indulge myself.
I mean let's lay this out here. After so much work and exploration, and also life getting on with itself at the same time... forgive me if increasingly I want to hone in on my passion in this genre. The various strands of interest that gather at the turn of the decades from the 70's to 80's. At this point I feel fairly surveyed in general, but specialization? We can't focus and specialize on everything now can we? Perhaps at this point I'd like to create true deep knowledge of that wonderful period, and explore it's deepest niches for gold.
3. Man...after that? I'd like to really complete the 80's, but my interest in 90's rock is like.. ...fucking hell. I really do hate that bland decade when it comes to white people music. Both sides of the pond (Brits were worse though). I'm more likely to start exploring the 00's and beyond further than the damn 90's. Shits just so boring. I'm not even really all that interested in stuff I respect from the time!
As usual the updates will appear below as a count from 1 to 30 or 40 or 50... (aka 21 to 50 or 60 or...) so you can see which of the old lists has a new friend in it's ranks.
