Game collection
I rate and review only to state my own senses/feelings wishing to be strictly subjective (keeping to my private opinion). As for submitting corrections and other info to RYM music database, surely I'm trying to be as objective and personal-taste-independent as possible.
If I rate an album, I for sure listened to it at least 5 times, and am able to whistle some tunes from it (if there are any :) ).
If I review an album, it means that I listened to it even more.
My MP3-collection contains more than 5 000 releases, but I did not manage to listen to them all enough :( and I am really against evaluating a piece of music having heard it once.
All my rates (except for 1/2 star) is positive - I simply cannot force myself to listen enough to album if it hasn't already fetched me in some way. There's always much more music which has. :) So, there's always a hope left that it would grow on me later. To put it another way - I am simply not sure what 'bad music' concept means itself (although certainly there are examples of what I don't want to hear and closing my ears in disgust every time when I come across it, but why must I mention those records at all?).
What about lyrics - they have really minimum weight in all of my ratings - more precisely, in my perception of records. Music itself can give you the greatest of pleasures, why bother about words?
I am collecting musical records since 1990.
and I don't love Cinematography at all
