Music IS magic. The ancients knew this, and had systems of understanding and manipulating it (http://www.cs.utk.edu/~mclennan/BA/MT.html). So the question is, what kind of soul nurturing are you experiencing? What is the artist conveying? Sometimes it's easy to forget these fundamental questions. If you love yourself, believe you have a soul, and want to experience something beyond this carnal culture, there's plenty out there to try.
I won't rate something I haven't actually heard, but chances are that if I haven't heard it and it's not in a genre I enjoy or on my wishlist, I dislike it anyway. But, feel free to leave recomendations.
