So if an album sucks than your commentary has to be just as bad?

I did actually check out Frozen Dawn and was fairly unimpressed, to be honest. It's not bad, it's just missing some element which wins my interest. I'm not actually crazy about Dissection, but I know everyone traces that strain of melodic black metal back to them. Sorry I didn't respond, I feel a bit awkward naysaying people's recommendations when they've taken the time to share.

You know, I also think DT's skydancer is really underrated. I got more into that one before The Gallery as well and there is just something special about that album. People look at it as kind of demo-ish but I like the energy and creativity behind it. I can't believe it is a debut as well which is kind of crazy when you compare that material with lots of veteran work from other bands. DT was great from the get-go! Thanks for spending the time to write your reviews, they were fun to read!
