Thanks man! Always great to learn when people get something out of these damn lists. Yeah, I've been into Metal my whole life, and I'm too old to care whats cool or true, etc....
Also I find that some myspace deathcore circa 2008 (especially Waking the Cadaver or Annotations of an Autopsy) was actually closer to slam than vulvodynia, and as well as that the bands were self aware enough to not seriously consider themselves legit slam. And on top of that made better music. The guest features on the new album on every song really annoyed me. I'm fine with guest features but having one (or more) on every song is really annoying. I have had my rants about them read in facebook groups by members of the band too
