Yeah London seems like an amazing place for film, and Close-Up was quite excellent, but day-to-day it didn't feel like much for such a huge city. A lot of those places on the map would've just been one-off or used sparingly.

Some of them are also unfortunately in or within range of Dalston, where people wear shit like denim overalls and bowler hats for a midday screening of Tarkovsky. I don't know man.

Did you like Wellington? it made such an impression of me. It's my go-to if I ever want to live off-grid for a while but still have city amenities (so not really off-grid, but you know). Certainly sounds like you had a pretty comprehensive trip!

Hi ! Thanks for the add back, and same to you. That list is a bit outdated since more films have resurfaced since, I'll try to work on it again when I can find the time. Also trying to repopulate my film ratings, but it's hard work. Are you actually a film student, or is it a figure of speech ?

Thanks for the add back, Ruhr. My ratings and list are not up to date at all, there would be significant changes today, but thank you. I will try to update everything in the next weeks. Your profile looks very interesting anyway.

I see ! Yes, I did a pointless master's degree some years ago, but I decided to take on studying again next year, we'll see how that goes.

Hope all is well with you! I used to have an account on here a while back but became increasingly frustrated with my ratings ...as most do.

    Fresh start for me!
