Thanks! Always great to both hear compliments about my ramblings as well as find out someone feels the same way. And yeah, the 'poetic cack' bit stems from the healthy dose of self-deprecation I always keep in the store, haha.

Cheers for the comments. Re Ultrasound, even though I'd like to think differently, sometimes the sheer volume of stuff I own gets the better of me. The vast majority of the albums I've rated but not reviewed have been assessed from memory. I can remember picking up Ultrasound with a bunch of other albums and being totally unimpressed. So much so I just put it to one side and forgot all about it. I'm in the process of trying to review albums which have been gathering dust for a number of years so no doubt Ultrasound will make a reappearance at some stage. Hopefully I'll think better of it when I do. Thanks again.

Thanks for the comments for BSP. Yes, I did find copies of the books. Problem is there are still to missing. One is apparently a copy of H.G. Wells "War of th Worlds" which has been published by so many firms that finding the edition that was used for "Remember Me " has so far been impossible. The other is for "The Lonely" ... I have no idea which book was used and no one seems to remember that I've asked so far.
Thanks for the info on white T's. How did I miss that one?!

Well, this was because I actually don't consider that album like shit of course. I appreciate them, I'm happy they're still around and making new records, they're a good band and listening also to this record, this is evident. On the other hand, I have to say that it didn't say me to much emotionally. Perhaps it is because there're no accelerations. 'Death of the Cool' it's a sufficient album, definitely, but, well, I would say that it didn't impressed me so much. Don't think I'm going to listen to it in the future.

Sadly, because I went for the silver disc LP, my package has been delayed so nothing on my doorstep. Actually, that's a lie, I finally got my "Bad Bohemian" T + mug today, although still waiting for the other T's (and T-towel!). Poor Toby (shopkeeper) I daren't ask him when to expect them as I'm sure he's been up to his ears in packages. Are you going to the Slowdive gig in Oxford by any chance?

Oh that surprise Slowdive gig at the garage - I live in Highbury and managed to get a ticket ... but despite a begging email to the powers that be, I couldn't get even half the night-shift off, so I couldn't go. It pained me greatly. I have seen them live a lot though - saw them 5 times in their pre-hiatus period and then again a few times after they got back together, including their very first gig at the Hoxton Bar and Grill or whatever it's called. Live they are just fantastic, much like BSP - they are bands that you just HAVE to see live!
