That must have been a really terrible experience for you man, and I'm saddened to hear that all this has happened/been happening. You've got to stay strong. I realize that's cliche advice and that I haven't experienced anything that bad really so it's easy for me to say something like that, but when life gets tough, you can't let life beat up your soul/mind. Because if you let that happen, it makes the bad times much worse. It's really good that you've been doing your best to stay positive and not give up. Gavin, you're a wonderful person, and this shit doesn't deserve to beat you down mentally. You're in a really tough place right now, but you can't let it fuck you up. Life is better when you're positive, no matter what the situation is.
I would recommend that you try and bring the old Gavin back again, and I realize that's hard to do when life is being a bitchass but I feel that changing your mindset is key to minimizing the pain that comes with these tough situations.
As for me life is pretty ok, I'm in university now, my tuition is payed entirely by grants cause we became a low income family. Only shitty thing that happened in the past few months is that I had a 3 week psychotic episode, the worst one of my life, near the end of the semester but fortunately I got tricked into going to a mental hospital where I got involuntarily hospitalized, and treated kinda. But most things are back to normal for me now. So I guess the moral of the story is that things get better eventually. Do you think things will get better when you move to Texas?
