Welcome to my profile!

My current music collection on HDD consists of over 350 artists and on average 4-5 full length albums per artist. I have a physical copy of only a very few albums you'll see on my profile, but I prefer to support artists by attending their concerts as much as I can.

I'm a very curious person and go in big depths with my musical explorations.

For example, I was exposed to Deep Purple's music already as a small kid. As they mention Frank Zappa in their most popular song it was only a matter of time when I'll check out Zappa's music. Next step was of course to check out contemporary classical composers like Edgard Varèse, Igor Stavinsky and Anton Webern because of their immense influence on Zappa.

This approach is probably the main reason why I've explored and learned to appreciate music from almost all genres.
